It is important to us that our website is accessible to everyone.
We use WordPress in combination with the Neve theme. This theme is “accessibility ready”: each element meets the WCAG guideline.
However, this is no guarantee that our website is actually accessible. We have chosen colors that provide high contrast. In addition, we tested all parts of our website with a screen reader and keyboard.
During testing, we discovered a number of problems. We were able to solve most of the problems using “custom CSS.” We modified the styling and behavior of some elements.
There was 1 technical problem that we were not able to solve ourselves. The navigation menu in the header did not work properly with the screen reader. On January 13, 2022, we notified the developer about this issue. On June 25, 2022, the issue was resolved.
